The Spin- In has always been a fall event but as time goes on there are more and more fall wool festivals taking place. We, as a guild, have decided to try a “spring” event. We have therefore decided to work more diligently on a sponsorship program, marketing and re-organizing of this event for the spring of 2013 This takes money. We want our “state” fiber show to be more “Art” oriented and a representation of what Wisconsin fiber artists are accomplishing. We are also an educational program and want this goal supported for future artists.

The next Wisconsin Spin-In is being planned for April 19th-the 21st, 2013 at the Waukesha County Expo Center in Waukesha Wisconsin. We will be jurying all vendors and teachers, putting together an “art gallery” (involving more guilds and fiber artists) and encouraging more competition in fleeces, yarns and projects. If the fiber world is your passion, as it is ours, please consider sponsoring and/or advertising with the WI Spin-In. This is "your" state and needs "your" support to keep it going and achieve these goals. This in turn supports "your" business.

We presently have over 2000 people on our mailing list and ask all vendors to pass on information (similar to what  was sent out last year) that we mail to you to be distributed to your patrons.

Please respond with your opinions, ideas and dollars. Your continued support is what will keep this show alive and passing on these precious heirlooms to our next generation. We hope you all have enjoyed the past events, music, food and help we’ve tried to offer each of you. It is in your hands…Watch this web site (www.wispinin.org) for more updated information.

Help us make this a “spectacular”  Fiber Art Show.

Our Best Regards,

The Friendly Feisty Fiber Guild
